A little info about this site...
Thank you for taking the time to look at some of the projects I've worked on. I've been fortunate to have the opportunity to work with some great clients on some really unique projects since I first discovered the web.

If you have a project you think I might be able to help with please don't hesitate to contact me. I'm always willing to hear what you have in mind, and determine whether I think I'd be able to improve upon your vision with my design and development skills.

Moon Capital
Moon Capital Management LP is a leading global alternative investment advisory firm headquartered in New York. I've been responsible for all front-end design and development of their internal and client-facing systems since 2005.

I designed an implemented the front-end for MoonWeb - the portfolio management platform used to conduct all of the firm's research, analysis and trading. I also designed the firm's client website, a number of web-based charting tools, and mobile tools allowing analysts to conduct business while on-the-go.

I was the sole designer and developer on two internal systems used for people management — an applicant-screening tool used to manage the interview screening process, and a people-management tool similar to "LinkedIn" - designed to help familiarize colleagues with each-other, no matter when they joined the firm, or what office they work from.

Kristen Ingersoll
I had the pleasure of designing a site for Kristen Ingersoll, Fashion & Entertainment Director at Hearst Magazines International. The goal of this design was to showcase her work in a fast-loading minimally-designed site that remained entirely flexible for future updates. Visit Site

Drew Hansen
I've built three different sites for Drew Hansen. The first site was built to promote the publication of his book: "The Dream: Martin Luther King, Jr., and the Speech that Inspired a Nation". More recently Drew entered political office in Washington State. I've built two separate sites to provide a platform for Drew to get his message out to voters and highlight his political views.

In addition to his the public voter-facing site, I've also built a varity of tools to help Drew connect with his constituents, and to help him better understand the issues they care about most.

Étoile Cosmetics
Étoile Cosmetics is a New York based company selling nail polish to complement brides' engagement rings. When they contacted me, they already had a site-design in the works, so my role on the project was to take their product from mockup to market, by building a site that not only allowed them to market and sell their cosmetics.

The finished result is a online shop with aesthetics that match their physical product packaging using Shopify to manage sales and fulfillment.

Suma Chander
Suma Chander is a New York City designer of beautiful and elegant clothing. Her website captures her passion for designing clothing that is both stylish and fashion-forward without being overtly trendy. The design of her site was intended to showcase each piece from a variety of angles, with a simple and minimalistic interface keeping the focus on the clothing. As her product-line expanded, I added shopping capabilities to her site using Shopify to manage sales and fulfillment.

Insomnia Cookies
Insomnia Cookies offers an alternative to the usual college campus food options, offering late-night cookie delivery. Since their start, they've expanded beyond the college scene to over forty locations. The site I built processed over $2 million dollars worth of orders - taking care of order management, letting them focus on what they do best … baking great cookies.

Neta
Neta is one of the top New York sushi restaurants - offering a high-end menu of impeccably prepared fish in Greenwich Village. With the opening of their restaurant, they wanted a website to help show off the food, but also provide easy access to the information that's most important to diners - location, hours, menu, photos, and how to make a reservation.

The site was created using a responsive-design to ensure potential diners could access the site from their desks as well as their phones. Visit Site

Ruvanee Vilhauer
Ruvanee Pietersz Vilhauer wanted a site to promote her forthcoming books, and also a place to organize her past works of short fiction and published psychology writing, but didn't need anything overly complex. She did want the ability to update site content after the site launch. The refresh gave her both a fresh new design and a content management system more than capable for her publishing needs. M.A. Partners
M.A. Partners had a problem. They had a calendar full of events, but no reliable way to know how many people would attend. Our solution was to build an electronic invitation system to distribute invitations by email, collect responses, manage the relationships with the attendees of each event.
